Farewell Gary from everyone at Spinning Hat

Spinning Hat is in a state of mourning today. Gary, our first Product Designer, who joined us in 2007 has moved on to other pastures (in terms of his career - he is not a farmyard animal... he's a human being !!).

Thanks for all your hard work, dedication, and bad jokes, and we all wish you the best success at Dyson. Don't forget to visit us when you are back in London - we promise to still feed you !!

Homemade Balloon takes awesome photos of Earth

When NASA call you and ask you how you have taken picture of Earth and you reply with using a £50 digital camera from the high street, duck tape and a balloon they must be impressed. Robert Harrison's mission cost £500 compared to NASA's £300 million for similar photos. No wonder Obama is cutting NASA's budget!
