Lego art

LEGO ART

Do you remember the time when you were sitting on the floor with your friends and building what ever you wanted from lego? Well, I remember. When I was a child lego was a desirable toy in my country, maybe because it was quite expensive so not everybody could have it. I didn’t. But sometimes when my mum had to stay at work longer I spent my time at my neighbour’s house. There was a boy from my class whose father was working in Germany and earned more than other parents. Michael had plenty of bricks. LEGO BRICKS. I really enjoyed those afternoons.

Lego reminds me about my childhood, maybe this is the reason why I like them so much.
And one day I discovered that they are not just bricks. They can became an inspiration. I found fascinating artworks by Nathan Sawaya. What do you think about them? Aren’t they just great?

Here you can find more his lego masterpieces:

Ps Did you know that more than 400 billion LEGO bricks have been produced since 1949? Stacked on top of each other, this is enough to connect the Earth and the Moon ten times over!!!
