Do you remember Pinocchio? A fairy tale by Claudio Collodi about a woodcarver named Geppetto who created a wooden puppet? Because of Gepetto’s desire to have a son sculpture from a piece of pine became a real boy. Sometimes, especially when we want something very much, the things that seemed impossible come true… And it’s not a magic but the strength of our faith…
Theo Jansen is a Dutch artist. He is known as a kinetic sculptor because he builds sculptures looking like animal skeletons that can really move using the wind on the beaches of the Netherlands. Take a look at his most favorite works.
One of my professors shown me that movie and it changed the way I thought about my dreams. Now I know that everything can happen. If you really want it.

Posters that make you think
Amazing person with a really sharp tongue and peculiar sense of humour, demanding teacher adored by his students, talented graphic designer and what is the most important one of the best poster designers we’ve ever had…
Ladies and gentleman I’m honoured to represent you dr Lex Drewinski…

I met him last year. I took a part in one of his workshops in Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan (Poland) where I study. It was a great opportunity to get to know the way he works and - I must admit - one of the most important designing experience in my life.
I hope you'll enjoy his posters as much as I do.x

Kyle Bean
Saw this very cool shop display at Selfridges, by Kyle Bean. Got a whole bunch of products on scales, with the components on one side and the completed product on the opposite side.

Old School: VHS
Videos back in the day were amazing, you could record on them, watch block buster movies, buy or rent them. For now we have DVDs but even their starting to be obsolete; Being able to stream TV and films on your laptop or i pads is the next jump in viewing pleasure.
So before we say hello to our new technology and wave off the past I though that this video sums up the best of times we had with out VHS tapes.
Warning it’s a catchy tune

Top Five Fails on the Tube
At the moment it takes me one hour twenty minutes to get to work this is spent losing personal space to other London travels, reading what the metro has to offer and the forever feeling that I’m going no where.
But this is a part of the experience, if your going to work in London then expect this to come with the job.
But taking the tube does have its benefits, you find that you have a lot of time to observe and witness some brilliant things.
Liam’s Top Fails on the tube
Number 5:
Man breaks wind on the tube, classic.
Number 4:
Guy doesn’t quite make it on the tube in time to have the doors closed on him followed by swearing as the tube pulls away.
Number 3:
A woman is lost in her book and takes her time to get off the tube by the time she’s at the door its closed, fair play to hiding the shame and gets off pretty quick the next stop.
Number 2:
Almost made it to number one but it was late evening on my way back home, sitting opposite me a group of guys who have had a few drinks. The tube breaks down and the guys begin breaking into sing song to entertain there fellow trap passengers.
Number 1:
It was in the morning I was waiting at Bank for the Northern line to take me to Old Street, a business man had his head phones in and focusing on his i phone on the platform edge, perhaps enjoying a nice game of Angry Birds. The train arrives scares the guy, he jumps, the i phone drops underneath the tube the guys face priceless. Everyone else on the platform united in a gutted feeling then a chuckle followed by watching the man getting onto the tube saying good bye to his beloved i phone now head held down in shame.

(note this is in America Tube station but the picture summed up the theme pretty well)

Parkour Dont Look Down
Being on youtube as usual I found a video on the recent modern trend Parkour. After emailing the video link to my friend I then realised that you bloggers would also enjoy it.
I would love to give Parkour a go, not only do you get athletically fit and have a laugh with your mates but I could also save money on my trips to work at Spinning Hat each day. Say good bye to the tube hello roof tops!
This is one of many videos that these guys do, I recommend you check them out not only is the editing top notch but the soundtracks are kickass.
